Artists in Schools Grants – Deadline for applications: extended to November 15, 2021 – FY22 (2021-22 School Year) Round II applications for Artists in Schools Grants (see Arts Education Grants page for details) 

2021 Alaska Literary Awards from the Alaska Arts and Culture FoundationApplication Deadline: Sunday, October 31, 2021, 9:59 PM

The Alaska Literary Awards recognize and support writers of poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, playwriting, screenwriting, and mixed genres. Any Alaska writer over the age of 18 who is not a full-time student is eligible to apply. Quality of the work submitted is the primary consideration in determining who receives the awards. 2021 Connie Boochever Artist Fellowship from the Alaska Arts and Culture FoundationApplication Deadline: Sunday, October 31, 2021, 9:59 PM

The 2021 Connie Boochever Artist Fellowship awards recognize and support Alaska emerging artists of exceptional talent. In the 2021 cycle, a select number of $2,500 fellowships will be awarded to individual artists working in performing arts, theatre and music. https://artist.callforentry.org/festivals_unique_info.php?ID=9255

The Poetry Out Loud Alaska Committee has extended the 2021-2022 Poetry Out Loud Registration Deadline to November 15, 2021. Based on feedback from Alaska POL Liaisons and registrants, we a have also updated our timeline to give more time for local, classroom, school and regional levels of competition. ASCA’s Fiscal Year 2021 continues through June 30, 2021; FY2022 begins July 1, 2021.
