When she’s not canning salmon, butchering moose, gardening, building a new storage shed, or splitting wood, Anne Coray is at work on a novel set in a fictional community in remote, southwest Alaska. She is the author of three poetry collections: Bone Strings, A Measure’s Hush, and Violet Transparent. Anne also coauthored Lake Clark National Park and Preserve and co-edited Crosscurrents North: Alaskans on the Environment. She lives at her birthplace on Qizhjeh Vena (Lake Clark).
